Famous food are usually tagged with a particular place, like when you say 'Katong Laksa' or 'Beach Road Prawn Noodles. And in HongKong, when you go to Wan Chai, you would associate it with 'Wan Chai Wonton Noodles'. However being in Singapore, we are blessed with food from all over the world and do not have to actually be in HongKong to have a taste of what HongKong food is like.
Having done some research on Wan Chai HongKong Tea Room, this was exactly what its founder, Mr John Lim had in mind in 2001 to bring the best of HongKong local food to Singapore and uniquely from Wan Chai.
